63 Chev truck conversions
Converting a 63 Chev truck 6 cal w a 3 speed manual col shift to a V8 and need advice on transmission options, rear changes etc

My friend and I just built a 64 chevy four wheel drive with 3 speed automatic. We installed a 2006 drive by wire 6.0 liter chevy. He's into the motor swap for about 6k ( my friends truck). It was a task to rebuild engine mounts and cooling fans with shrouds and all the hundreds of other little things while converting. The air conditioning probably took the most brain scratching though. Its a super classy truck and for what he spent it's still better than building up a 383, especially to have a turn key fuel injection system at the end of it.
