I don't think this is a hotrod question per se, but you guys may know the answer to my question. My friend has a 63 Chevy C-10 with a 350, a 4 inch lift, and custom exhaust. The problem is, we hit a bump and found out that the front axle had crystalized and well, long story short, the axle is cracked all the way around right to the left of the front differential. The question is, is there somewhere you guys go for restoration or aftermarket parts. All he needs is a new front axle and that'll get him back on the road.

most of us have our favorite out of the ordinary junk yard. The kind you find out in the boonies that hasen't crushed out the old inventory, but every year they get harder to find. ask around at auto parts stores( real parts stores not AutoZone or Pep Boys) and usually they can tell you where the older inventories are.
