Had one of those 63's with bad motor. Enstead of rebuilding it, get a good used 250 cube. You can pick up a good one anywere for a couple of hundred. They bolt in just lilke they are the original. I backed mine with a four speed from a vega. Can't believe how much difference that made.

If the motor is bad, why not try and find a four cylinder iron duke motor for it. You can do alot of things to those little motors and have something different. llThey use to be the standard motor for those little chevy 11.
