hello i have a 63 impala and i was wanting to put disc brakes up front. i was wondering if there was a way to get out of buying the expensive conversion kit. would it work off of a chevelle or a later model impala or caprice. or am i just wasting my time? Thank you

63, I used this guys brackets the rest of the parts I bought at my local NAPA store at a fraction of the cost of a kit.

Hi,
If you go to a yard, most will have an interchange manual,
ask them to check for what years & models will fit you car, then
take everything from the Donner, master cyl, equalizer/proportioning valve,
calipers, rotors, distribution block, booster, some have a metering valve also.

thanks i have looked on ebay they have some cheap kits also
