Question 63 Ford Falcon Ranchero

I am thinking about puting a 351C in my
63 Falcon Ranchero. But not sure it will fit
between the shock towers. And will I have to
cut the hood. I would like to keep it stock
looking for a sleeper. w12bill3@yahoo.com

It will fit but you are going to end up with a funny exhaust system where a 351W would be a better fit and more conventional exhaust also has more available parts, better aftermarket heads and can use the EFI stuff, the oil system is better in the 351W and is more responcive at lower rpms

Lots of mods to fit the 351C, check out this site
http://home.maine.rr.com/fordfalcon/index.htm
Don has a 62 Falcon 351C. The 302 fits well using 64/65 Mustang V8 mounts they are a 3 piece deal, frame mounts, a spacer, and a rubber/steel engine mount. Windsor Fox has the trans mount and crossmember.
