64 el camino wheel size ???????
i have a 64 el camino with the springs cut and fenders rolled. i have a 12 bolt for the rear. would a 275/60/15 tire on a 15x8 with 5in backspacing fit? i should i go 5 1/4in backspacing?

I see this has been unanswered for a while..........and the reason is, Who Knows. These kind of things takes trial and error, sometimes you can borrow a wide wheel/tire combo from someone. You could also buy the Percy's Wheelrite wheel and tire simulator. these are available at Summit, Jegs, Speedway etc.
