64 Impala-Baer Brakes- 18"s - Backspacing?
I just got a front and rear air bag kit and have ordered a disk brake conversion kit from Baer.
For rims I plan on running 18" Boyds front and rear. The problem that I have is that the brake kit uses at least 17" rims, so I can't use my rallelys to sit the car on until I measure the necessary backspacing (which will get changed when I switch to the Baer disks). Any sugestions? Anyone know where I could get some cheap temp 17s? I don't want to have my car sitting on jack stands and I sure don't want to buy extra rims! HELP!!!! Eric.

Eric, if you find some cheap 17" rims let ME know, heh. Why don't you want your car on jackstands? Is it your only means of transportation?

The price of 17 inch rims is kind of making me not want to go to 12 inch discs up front on my cutlass. Heck the price of 16 inch tires is enough, much less 17 inch or 18 inch tires.
I second that jackstand reccomendation.
