64 impala brakes

hi, im an owner of a 64 impala station wagon. i have 77 corvette 12'' disk brakes in the front.. and crappy stock drums out back...i want to put some disks in the rear...

ANY SUGGESTIONS AS TO WHAT BOLT-ON APPLICATIONS I SHOULD CHECK OUT?

ie..disks, calipers, master cylinder, brake line diameter, proportioning valve combos

ps..ideal situation is more-or-less of a bolt on application if one exists.

hmmmmmmmm

.

I am NOT aware of any bolt on Kits for the older 55 to 64 Chevy rear ends...But there are quite a few for the 9 inch Ford. WHY NOT put a 9 inch Ford under the wagon........and the disc brakes......

Hydroboost Systems

I Believe Wilwood Has That Rear Brake Kit. The Problem With Rear Discs Is That They Demand More Volume And More Pressure From The Booster To Make Them Work. The Hydroboost Has The Power To Operate Any 4 Disc Set Up, With A Nice Pedal Feel, And Unbelievable Stopping Power.
