64 olds Boil Over
so i posted on a previous thread about my rad. boiling over. everyone suggested that my water pump may be junk. i pulled it, and the propelers were in awsome shape and it spun real good. no probl there. i got a new thermostat and a new rad. cap. i flushed the rad. till that water ran clean, i flushed in BOTH ports for the water pump while it was off, flushed through the heat core too. still it wont draw the water. idk if there is some kind of air buble problem. or not, but when ther thermo opens the water goes no where....im so lost....

Sounds like he radiator may be plugged.Did you look down inside at the tube ends when you had it drained?
Does it look like the intake gasket was changed? Maybe somebody put the water crossover blocking plates at the wrong end of the motor. You should be able to pull the thermostat and look in sideways to see if the coolant passage is open to the cylinder heads.
