64 t-bird lookin for smaller steering gear box

does anyone have any suggestions on a different steering gearbox for my 64 t-bird im interested in getting full length headers but looks like the huge gearbox aint gonna let me.

I do not believe there was even a manual box option that year.

64 t-bird gearbox trouble

will a gearbox from a 65 t-bird fit a 64
