Not sure how accurate this info is, but it matches what you have, other than it being a '66, instead of a '65. (but the K-2-5 shows it's a late-'65 block...specifically Nov. 2, 1965) It's actually T1104EF instead of TII04EF.

Casting number is for a '65-'66 396 4-bolt block.

EF SUFFIX:
EF 1966 396 360 Chevelle HP
EF 1967 396 350 Chevelle HP
EF 1968 396 350 Chevelle HP

A casting date in '65 doesn't necessarily mean it went into a '65 vehicle- it could have been used in '66, depending on the month. In the case of an "11", it would indicate your block was cast in November, and would not have been installed in a '65 vehicle.

I think all the BBC blocks except the tall deck truck blocks were given the "high perf" designation, heads that had high perf meant rectangle ports, "pass" heads were oval. Don't know what peanut port heads or TD heads got- and I even ported a set of PP heads years ago...

Your block being a 4-bolt, really IS "HP", AFA production blocks go.

No idea on the "F", sorry.
