'65 Chevy C-10 rebuild..

Need tips on building up my '65, lots of questions. Where can I get parts to convert to Turbo-350 tranny, any tips on rebuilding or manufacturing roof patches, disk-conversion techniques, floor repair guidance, any knowledge for this particular model, questions as to which 4-barrel to use with my 350stroker, header fits, and anything likely to be missed in a once-over of the truck..

First tip- Take it one step at a time. Pick one or two of your questions above and elaborate. For instance, focus on drivetrain. Give the exact engine setup you will have if you want to know carb size. If you want to know about trannys make sure you give the particulars, engine, tranny, rear gears, tire height, vehicle weight etc should help figure out what torque converter you'll need etc.

If you jump all over the place you'll never get the info your looking for as well as you'll have a hard time building the truck that way, believe me I made that mistake once.
