65 Galaxie power window kit

Got a 65 galaxie convert that I want to upgrade to power windows. I was looking at one of those universal 'flat glass' kits and wondering if anyone has tried one of these kits:
electric life kit
I know they're designed for flat glass, but I think the galaxie glass is pretty flat.

I have this in my 59
(well, an older version of the same regulater)
not likely that it will co-operate with any sort of a curve at all.

My 66 Elky has a very slight curve in the glass as well, and there is actually quite a bit of lateral movement with the bottom sash of the glass.

Have you considered looking into the late 70s Mercs or lincolns for something compatible??

Might be able to modify a regulator from a late Monte/GP/Regal to work.
Might try salvaging one of those to play with.

I would think once you got it to fit in the door----all you would need to do is to relocate the adusting cam slide.
