65 merc cyclone headers
I have a 65 comet with a mustang 11 front end.I have a 429 in my car but because of the location of rack in pinion to steering shaft most headers won't fit my car.Does anyone else have similar set up.My stock manifolds barely clear the steering rod.I have thought about going to straight axle set up but my car drives nice with the mustang set up.I have a well built 466 on my engine stand I plan on dropping in my car in the future,based on a pro street set up with a six speed richmond later after rear end mods roll cage etc.I am running power steering with c6 presently.
