'65 rearend
My buddy's got a 1965 chevrolet pickup 2wd with a 3 speed and an inline 6. The truck is shot but Im just curious to know what the gear ratio might be in the rearend. If anyboy knows what it might be or how to find out Id appreciate it.
Thanks fellas |

If there is a stamped axle ID number, it should be on the front of the passenger side axle tube between the differential housing and the spring perch.
You may have to use a scraper or wire brush to see the stamped number/letter combination, the first part of the combo is the axle ratio itsself. |
