Yes...The 9" was available on the 1965 MUSTANG.

Like he said....Yes, but they are rare as chicken lips.

Only came in 289 ci 271 HP high performance models if my memory serves me correctly. A real commomn Mustang.......

I was under the impression that Shelbys were 289 - 271 HP models and then modiflied up to Shelby specs.

why would you want a nine inch, the added weight? the poor handling that goes with it? the expensive parts?

i would go for a currie 8 inch, it will take well above 500 hp, and besides you can never fit tires under a 65 mustang that can provide the traction nessacary to break a well prepaired 8 inch.

wha wha whaaat?? 500hp to an 8inch??? Why am I wasting my money on a 9 inch. How much do these go for?
