66 chevy hood cancer
I have cancer on the front lower section of my hood (pics in photo album). I looked at chevyduty.com but all they have is fiberglass replacement hoods. Is there a way to cut this out or a place that I can get the front lower section in metal and weld in place?

I attached a pic here to make it easy. Is there any suggestions on procedure fixing this on the truck? Maybe cutting out and welding new metal in place or liquid metal or just replacement?

Has the rust gone through to the other side of the panal? if not you can sandblast it out

Some of it has eat thru. I thought this would be an easy part to replace. I wrote chevyduty.com about a metal replacement part with no response yet.
I did talk to someone the other day that may have a hood. I have to do some more followup on that.

Should be lots of good used ones out there; You can buy one cheaper than you can fix that one, and be done with it.
