66 coronet

How do you put a MSD distributor in a 66 Coronet that had points. How would you wire the MSD distributor without a 6AL box?

Depending on the distributor, the install will be a little different, but any distributor without points is going to require a spark box of some kind. Don't know what you have invested, but the MSD box is probably your best bet.

I always use a Mopar electronic distributor with the orange box. Haven't had one fail yet.

Yep, and most of the guys who do that swap on B bodies mount the orange box under the battery tray. the distributors use the same cap, so it all looks stock from above.
