After removing the front bumper and valance, I realized the framerails will have to be repaired where the bumper brackets attach. I haven't decided if I want to go for the R model valance that deletes the bumper, or the updated version with the bumper. Does anyone know if the R model without the bumper needs the bumper support brackets?
Thanks,
Fred

I may be wrong but I think if you use the r model apron you will have two holes remaining in your fender where the original bumper bolts up. These holes don't get covered over, they are left open.I don't believe you will use the supports for the r apron. I believe if you want the Shelby look go with the bumper and the GT350 apron. R model aprons made of fiberglass take a lot of work to fit. Besides R models dont have headlights and I guess you will want this streetable?
