'66 Mustang restomod
I'm interested in hearing from anyone who has experience upgrading the suspension of these old Mustangs, particularly the Heidts front IFS and rear 4-link. I want a lowered stance with improved ride, handling and steering. I want a car that I can drive cross-country on the Interstate if I'm so inclined. Basically the goal is a car that looks like a '66 Mustang but rides and handles like a modern car. I'm also interested in Fatman's Mustang front end. They claim that the Mustang II system employed by Heidts stresses the unibody in unsafe ways. Anyone have firsthand knowledge of these products? Any and all suggestions and/or recommendations (not necessarily limited to the products I mentioned) will be appreciated.
