Post 67-72 drop spindles

I am going to lower my 1969 chevy 1/2, in the near future after paint and body work. I found a kit the consist of springs to lower it 2.5 inches in front, and 4 inches in back, but there are no spindles in the kit, just a lowering springs. should i buy spindles also with the springs for better ride proformance. And would i have to get disk breaks if i were to lower my truck in any way, like if were to buy spindles, would drum breaks go right onto those. and if i were to buy spindles and disk break, were would be the best cheapest place to buy from. thanks for all your help.

we dropped a 72 3 inches in the front and it scraped all over the place...I think you should try it with the springs...then if you want it lower buy the spindles
