67 C-10 Chevy Brakes question
i bought a 67 C-10 with a 396 in it at an auction last month. I finally got time to take it apart this weekend so i can find out what it all had in it. It has disk brakes on the front, but i have been told disk brakes started showing up on 73+ chevys. So im assuming that my truck has 73 or newer spindles off a chevy. Does anybody know if my facts/ hypothesis are correct or if you have any more info that would be great cause i dont wanna spend 2grand on brakes and have them not fit. Thanks guys and gals if your out there!

yep. '70-'71 had optional disc brakes. '72 was standard I think. I know the rotors on my dad's '72 have a machined groove in them. don't know if that tells you anything... a look at LMC should be able to match you up with what you have.. '73-'87 crossmembers do fit so you may very well have a '73-'87 setup
