67 c10 drive shaft
i drop a new 375 tranny built up in my 67 c10 swb truck. i had a 400 in it but cracked the bell housing. my friend who did the switch for me couldnt used my drive shaft and he had another one. everything fits but the rear u-joints dont sit all the way into the rear end. it shakes rear bad around 30mph. do i have the wrong rear ujoints or need to have my other driveshaft cut.

So the rear cups aren't seating in the rear yoke? or are you saying the drive shaft is too short? A picture would be a huge help.
Is the driveshaft one thats been shortened or lengthened, or is it a stock piece from another vehicle? |
