67 Camaro rear end needs new ring and pinion

My wife's 67 Camaro needs a new ring and pinion. The car has a 2.73 non posi and I would like to bump it up to a 3.08 to give her a little bit more get up and go. The car has a 350 hooked up to a power glide. The problem is that 2.73 is where the carrier break is. The car is a around town driver and she doesn't beat on it. Is anyone aware of what carrier assemblies might fit into the stock housing or if there is a solution that wont require changing the whole rear end.

You might do some looking for a good/used carrier. You make get lucky and find a posi. Bad news is... Your gonna have to change the carrier. You might think about doing a 336 ratio as its a pretty good all around ratio.
