Hey 4doorjoe,
I have a 67 Impala SS with a 396, I've stopped working on it for a while but hope to get back on it soon. I've had two 67 Impalas one I sold about 2 years ago was my first car I got when I was in high school, Kept it for 20 years.
It wasn't an SS it had a 283 and a powerglide. look at the pics I have of them in the photo album.

My son and I have been working on a two door'67 Biscayne for a long time. Started as a stick 6. I think we've upgraded, replaced, refurbished, repainted, re-everything to the car. It's now a 383. I didn't think there were any other kindred spirits out there.

If you need help with a problem let me know. I also have some spare parts.

Sorry, I'm not in fact I'm selling my '62 Impala to build a FWD GM.

There are a few '67s and '68s around here. Somebody just finished a LeMans Blue '67 Hdtp. and is it sweet. There is also a LeMans Blue '67 SS427 near hear I see occasionally, think it may be the one that roamed the streets when I was a pup and it has been restored. A good friend of mine had a white w/white interior SS396/325HP. 4 speed, 3.31 posi '67 SS Hdtp. when we were teenagers. The only "luxury" option it had wa an AM radio. No PS or PB !

Don't give up on it, it will be a nice piece of the past. Seems I may have mentioned this before but there was a kid here back in the 70's with a '66 Bel Air 4 Dr. with a 350/300HP, Muncie wide ratio 4 speed and 4.56 posi. Would have been a real sleeper if not for the HiJackers, Mr. Gasket Pro Stock mags and Pro Trac 60's. He totaled it............

4door joe;

Hey those big 60's Chevys are cool cars too (of course I like Lincolns, so what do i know).

BTW, will we ever get the straight goods on Slanty, Knobie, Momma, and Michelle? I'm still in psychotherapy over that tragedy in Kearney.

Oh well, it's good to see U posting again.

67 4dr hdtp impala

Hey, Tubascared here.
Heard you have a 4dr impala also. Just resently goy mine this fall,body is in pretty good shape other than replacing right quarterpanel and some trunk repair. The interior is trashed but nothing that cant be covered, car has no motor but I have a 1968 396 that came out of a caprice coming soon. I am very glad to hear that someone othet than me has one of these rare breeds. Even though the car is a 4dr I plan to make it as much of a muscle car that I can.Maybe the only 67 SS 4dr out there. Well ive probably bored you enough.However one more thing.alot of people are down on the 4drs but I think if they are built right they will be just as much fun to drive and look pretty awsome as any 2dr out there. Hope I have encouraged you to keep working on it.Looks like I have way more work to do on mine than yours. talk to you soon.
