67 impala disc swap

Hello fellow hot rodders, just bought a 67 Impala s/w to use as a daily driver, parts chaser, family truckster type ride and I want to change it over to front discs.Yeah,I know I can just buy a kit,but I'm cheap. My suspicion is any 70's era B-body GM would be a suitable candidate to rob of the spindles out.Anybody tried it,or have a better idea?

Check out www.scarebird.com This guy makes very nice brackets to use late model GM calipers. See if there's anything that tickles your fancy. I just bought a set of brackets for my 66 Mustang. Workmanship is very nice.

'65-'70 suspensions are similar, but discs were available only '67-'70. '69-'70 used single-piston calipers, which are less prone to leakage & have a better selection of pad types.
