67 impala steering box

A friend is restoring a 67 SS Impala convertible. It's a manual steering car and the steering box is worn out. I have a steering box from a 70 ElCamino. Will it interchange? If not,any one know what will interchange? He's keeping it manual so no power suggestions please. Thanks in advance. God Bless and Happy Holidays.
