67 Mustang Front Discs

Can anyone pass on thier experience here - I have front discs on my 67 mustang - single pistons, the spindle casting is either D1ZA08 or D17A08. I know they are off a 71 ford of some type - anyway in narrowing it down.
Second, the brakes work pretty well, are these decent systems to stay with, I have been considering upgrading when I add on the rear discs - is compatability a big issue or do these 71 brakes work well with others- what would you do? GYDYUP

Those are from a 71 MUSTANG (also used on TORINO, etc.). They are single piston sliding type as where the origionals (if disc brake equipped) were four piston KELSEY-HAYES which are of a better design but problematic and expensive to repair.

They are a good upgrade.
