67 Mustang GT convert

Just introducing myself. Bought the car as a father son project 10 years ago when my oldest was 15. He did a great rebuild job on engine, trans rear, cowl and frame rails. Forgot inner/outer rockers and floor pans. Convert was worth salvaging. Car set for 4 years, now my 21 year old wants it on the road. Car is getting put back together, only hood, fenders and interior has to be installed.

Car is ebony black urethane paint, looks outstanding, had to be straight to do this.

Just curious, the fenders are being a real bear to get aligned. Doors shut with a click and match exactly with the rear quarters, but fenders seem to rock on the inner fender mount yet everything lines up perfect with the chassie. Any tricks I'm missing?

Haven't taken any recent photos, but have complete progress shots from disassembly to reassembly, glad I did this.

Any help on the fenders appreciated.

Thanks
