67 Mustang Tremec Install

IM RESTORING A 67 MUSTANG, RIGHT NOW IT DOESN'T HAVE A ENGINE OR TRANNY, BUT before i read the heat on the tremec tranny i saw a 2002 mustang being torn apart and the tranny being sold really cheap! SO i am now the owner of a 2002 tremec manual tranny i believe it is the t-3650! Please can anyone tell me what i would need to install this? im planing on installing a 351w(408w stroked)!
here are a few questions:
1. is it possible to do this install?
2. what are the restrictions?
3. is there a cure for the tremecs that had problems with grinding?
4. will the shifter fit in the cut out inside the car?
ANYTHING ELSE you guys can inform, advise, warn me about would be greatly appreciated!

dropped a T-5 in my Jaguar rdstr and mated to a 302 turbo Cobra...had to change bell housing and 'manipulate' it...build the rear tranny mount and shorten the driveshaft a bunch...as far as shifter location...only way to know is to mock it up or have a real good eye for inches...I had to rebuild a drive tunnel and cut a new hole...the tunnel wasnt that a big issue...
