68 Bel Air Color

I have a 68 Bel Air 4-door and was planning on painting it the typical blue/light blue colors that you see on most of these. But after seeing this Bel Air, with the exception of the wheels, I kinda liked the look. What do you guys think about going against the grain of a "boring 4-door color", and painting it something more radical like the image in the link below?

Yeah I am with you on the red. The more I look at it the more I am liking it. The bad part is that my wife wants to paint it red and I have insisted for the last month that you just dont paint a 4-door classic red. But she wouldnt listen, she had to search until she found one. So I have been hearing "I told you so for the last 3 days"!!!!

The red is nice. How about Black, in Single-Stage (wow!!). That body-style lends itself to the newer style two-tone (Chip Foose Style..)

Had a 68 COPO 427 Biscayne that was red...Really cant go wrong with Red but I actually like the more humble colors like fawn beige..Just dont use any rim that even remotely looks like the ones on that other car
Go red with red rims and little caps and throw 427 badges on the front fenders just for the heck of it
If you want to go modern then maybe smooth the handles and do a top color and a seperate bottom color..something clean..
