68 Camaro/Firebird Faster Turn Flasher

I want to get a fast flasher for my car.
I have a standard 2 prong, slow, OEM flasher.
Which one do I need to get a fast blinker?
Do I have to do any wiring mods if it's a 3 prong unit?

Thanks, Garett

The mechanical flashers like you have rely on resistive load to control the flash rate. There are electronic flashers that flash at the same rate no matter what the load is. I dont know if it will be fast enough for you but it may be worth a shot. You cant just replace a 2 prong flasher with a 3 prong, they are designed for different types of circuits

Replace the bulb with an LED bulb if possible I replaced my turn signals and brake lights with LED's on my 1967 Firebird and they blink like crazy.
