68 Camaro metal headliner trim
Anyone know where to get the front and rear metal headliner trim pieces (with teeth)? Or advice on fabricating them?
|
camarocentral.com ? maybe...... call them they have always been very helpful anytime I have needed them..... or wouldnt landau top glue that upholstery shops use, hold it up there with the metal trim that goes across it ?
I'm betting our resident pro Dan will know |
Thanks but
I already tried Camaro central, but they were out with no follow on help. What about fabricating them? Any suggestions?

Are you talking about the whole set of trim strips, front, rear and side? Rick's Camaro has them as a complete set or you can order front, rear or side sparately: http://www.rickscamaros.com/catalogs...liner&x=42&y=6

Dan that is the trim kit, what I am looking for is what the headliner tucks into. its metal with teeth, then the trim. Thanks for looking though!

Dan
Yes the headliner retaining stripes that are just inside the front and rear windshield.
|
Do these things screw on and then the headliner is tucked under them? What happened to the originals?
|
Dan
Yes i believe itnis screwed in,but the headliner is tucked into it with glue. When I bought the car the front was missing, and the rear left side is rusted out.
