68 impala disc brakes

I am looking to convert my '68 impala to front disc brakes. What applications can I transfer to my car from existing vehicles and has anyone else with limited finances done this?

Quote:
if you are thinking of using factory disc brakes, the 67/68 4 piston caliper disc brake setups use different spindles than the 69/70 single piston caliper setup. Many people convert to the 69/70 setup because they're more plentiful and will bolt on to the earlier cars and work well. Also 69-82 Corvettes use the same spindle as 69/70 Impala, so Corvette brakes can be used too.

My son has a 1968 Impala showcar and had some experiences with your project. His e-mail is tstrzelec@hotmail.com
There are factory 1968 Impalas with disc brakes so most parts should be available from the dealer.
perhaps you might give him a line
