68 Mustang w/302 Stalling
Hey there, new to your site and wondering if anyone can help me out. I have a 68 Mustang Coupe with a 302. Recently, the engine began to idle rough then stall when put into gear. It seems do do fine in neutral and park. I have also noticed that when starting it cranks over a few times and seems to miss, where it normally would fire right up. Any ideas?

tune up time ?
Is it a points ignition ? points, rotor.cap, spark plugs , and maybe spark plug wires ?

|
Mallory Unilite Distributor with a Mallory ProMaster coil. Plugs and wires are fairly new. Only has issues in gear, but not when revving/accelerating. Seamed to happen immediately following a fuel up at Sam's Club. Put some system treatment in today just for the hell of it.

sams gas
Sams pump a lot of fuel so usually you dont have as many problems with high volume stations, This time of year in some areas they change to winter blend fuel, winter fuel doesn' t work on hot indian summer days.

I hear ya. Went over the wires again last night. Any other thoughts? Maybe the timing? I am hoping it's something somewhat simple. Thanks again!
