68 mustang yellow paint

I am trying to find information on a yellow 68 mustang that I am looking at to buy. The car has the original paint which is yellow, but it is not the Meadlark Yellow listed for 1968. The car was made in San Jose Cal. The vin number is blank for the color part of the vin, telling me it was a special order. I have searched the internet and so for I cannot come with the proper color. Any help would be appeciated. Thanks packrat

If you order a report from Kevin Marti it should have the correct color on it.

Yellow Paint ?

I did call marti and he said it was a special paint but I would have to send a sample of the paint. He said that that would be the only way to figure out the color. Since I am looking at the car to buy I cannot remove a sample. Is there a special paint option chart available that anyone has access to?

You might consider taking the car, Or have the car taken to a paint shop such
as ppg/dupont or other supplier and have them use the eye on it to determine
what the color is.

This will be your easiest route I believe to determine that color.
