69 12-bolt into iroc

Would the 12 bolt outa' my 69 chevelle fit under my 85 iroc? I know I would have to do something about the torque arm. Anything else?

Measure the distance from backing plate to backing plate on both cars. If the Chevelle is the same as your Camaro it will go in and all you have to do is redo all of the mounting points.

IROC swap

Chevy Thunder,
If you do not feel like riding out to the country to measure a rear, you sure aren't going to feel like fabricating ALL of the control arm brackets, panhard bar brackets, and torque arm bracket that is going to be required for this swap. The ride to the country would be like a, well, a ride in the country compared to all of the fabricating required for this swap. Moser Engineering makes a new bolt in 12 bolt for this application. Kinda pricey though. I fabricate housings and I only did 1 of these and knew I would just buy the next one.
Good luck...............Toni
