69 C10 IL6 to V8 Swap
 

I see alot of these swaps but most have the engine set too far back.
What is the correct placement measurement from the rear of the valve cover on the drivers side to the fire wall?

Correct in my world would be where you can get the valve covers, exhaust manifolds/headers, intake manifold and distributor cap off the motor when it's in place. My other concern would be positioning of the radiator so that the engine-driven fan blade would be within one inch of the radiator core and that a full shroud could be fitted.

I guess I should have said 'Factory' placement. Anyone have a C10 with a factory installed V8 ? 67 to 72.
