Yup..
Just locate it, snip the wires from both ends..toss the resistor and splice the two wires together..Or if it's long enough .. run the end coming from the switch directly to the BATT HEI terminal.
If you have a Resistor wire, you will have to remove it and replace that with a regular section of wire.
