You should use a bezel nut that screws on to the stud from the chrome louver, you have to go inside the rear seat panel to get at it. Just sliding through the hole just won't do it. Try your local GM dealer's parts department or body shop, bring the part with you and they should be able to give you the correct nut to fit it.

You need "barrel clips" pushed onto the studs if you just want a push-in installation. Originals were held on with self threading panel nuts from the inside.
Yes, they just fit into drilled holes. EDIT: Be aware you may have to bend the ornament, some of the repros I have seen are too flat and don't fit the curve of the quarter well at all. Last edited by ericnova72; 08-28-2010 at 10:02 PM. Reason: more info |
