felt
Go to a sewing shop and but a chunk of thick felt. Glue it on the retainers. Other option would be to get spares from a wrecking yard.

im not sure if you need the window felts or something under them, but theres a few sellers on ebay with chevelle window felt kits.
Also if you do need the felt kit, might want to check out a couple of chevelle parts sites in the google catalogs http://catalog.google.com/ I've gotten quite a few catalogs in the mail just from their selection. Most of em have the felt kits for 35-60bucks. But if its just a little piece of felt thats missing off the end, i would go braketeers route and add another patch of felt there. Im cheap i didnt buy my felts, i just took some felt like material laying around here and crimped it between some metal and screwed em in. Kind of primative but it gets the job done.
