69 Chevelle Heater Doesn't Work

Ok, not sure where to even start with this one. This is an A/C car, blower works, but when I move it over to heat, no hot air comes out. In addition to that, there is some type of fluid leaking onto the floor board on the passenger side, not a real clear indication of where it's coming from. But all of the duct housing under the dash HAD little droplets of fluid, didn't appear to be oil (not even sure how oil could get in the interior), possibly coolant???, it is oily. Wiped that off and it hasn't reappeared.

That being said, I am leaking coolant somewhere, having to top off the radiator once a week or so. From what I understand the heated coolant is basically what generates the heat for the heater. But even if that were the case, there is still hot coolant passing through so wouldn't I still get hot air?

Very confused...

Sounds like the heater core has a leak. Its like a small rad in your heater box. It will need to be repaired

That said, you should still be getting heat. Perhaps one of the doors in the heater box is not opening.
