Post 69 chevrolet nova rearend

Looking for a 12 bolt rearend for my nova . Any donor cars suggested . What is the best way to go aftermarket or what . Car will be running about 500 hp i hope will an 8.2 be strong enough or an 8.5 . Sure like the sound of a 12 bolt though .

57-59 Ford 9 inch is almost a direct bolt in.......and stronger too.

Donor cars for the 12 Bolt are

67-69 Camaro
68-72 Nova

Most of these 12 bolts have been used up, broke up and bought up long ago.

the 8.2 will hold up as long as it has a good rebuild on it and does not see constant flogging
