my 69 vette oversteers a little it wants to steer faster than you turn the wheel it wants to turn quicker and on a rough or unlevel highway it wants to dart side to side it has new bushings and control arm bushings and tie rods and wheels are aligned and power steering cylinder and valve body have been replaced i dont know what to do. what is the problem?

Vettes are quick steerers as it is - you can sneeze and be in a whole 'nother lane!
If it's that twitchy, get your front camber checked. Wheel alignment shops hate 'Vettes so you'll have to go to a good shop. Check the rear camber as well - it's very common to see the rear wheels pointed in at the top with way too much camber. Make sure they plan to use the cam bolts to adjust the rear, and not just bend the bars! |
