69 firebird rim sizes???

Hey all , i just got my hands on a 69 Firebird. There are no tires or rims coming with the car so i have to purchase some and i cant seem to find out which sizes will fit.
I can get my hands on a set of centerline rims 15x8 w/4.75 backspace and 235/60/15 tires. Will these fit?????tia.

re: 69 firebird rim sizes???

If they are GM bolt patterns they will fit. I had a set of 245x15's on a 69 Camaro and they would rub only in extreme turning situations.
