69' GTO no park lights

I have headlights reverse lights, brake lights and turn signals but no park lights at any time. The fuse blows when switched on. Any ideas to trouble shoot this

Doc here,

Look for a short on the park lamp line going to the lamps and heater control lamp.

Remove the bulbs , turn on the switch, does it blow the fuse again? If so, the wire or socket has a short.

Unplug the wire from the light switch, ohm out the Orange wire to ground, it it has continuity (without bulbs) separate the wire from the front and rears..( find the rear harness plug, unplug it)

Measure the rear to ground first, if good,

Measure the front to ground, if good

Measure the orange wire to ground ..If good

The switch is defective in park.

Doc, should I pull the heater control bulb and all park lights front and back before testing?
