Post 69 Right Hand Drive

Hey Hotrodders, I just joined the club & think this is the best. Hope someone can help. 1st I'm not a mechanic so please bear with me. I'm up for a real challenge. I'm customizing a 69 Cougar XR7 and thought it would be neat to convert to a right hand drive. Ok now what? What will I need to get me started? And how complicated will this be? Is it possible? If I recall wasn't that a right hand drive convertible 69 cougar in one of the old James Bond Movies? Correct me if I'm wrong. Is this a possible project or would I just be waisting my time?

Seems like a lot of work, but you should be able to get parts from an Aussie car, The Falcon (the understructure, not just the name) was used until at least the mid to late eighties so you should be able to get most of the stuff from down under (steering gear, pedals under dask support,etc.). Like I said, quite a job. You could also get a European rack of some sort and adapt it, if you just want the look. Ford did export models, but I think you would be hard pressed to find (and afford) the parts used or new.
