6K To Spend, What Motor?
Hey Folks,

Your local moron here, again..

I have about 6K to spend on a new motor. I Need a turn key motor as what I have in my Merc is old and nasty, and like my Guy working on my car tells me, what I have was a junkyard small block even when it was put in back in 1978. SO I want everything new.

This is what I currently have: a 350 SBC and 350 Trans.

I decided to go with a 200R4 trans, down the road, but since I am going with bowtie over drives, they can build a super strong trans that can handle anything I throw at it in my price range.

So my question to you guys is what motor should I go with? And, should I go with the motor with the most possible horsepower and torque my 6K can get me? I am sticking with a Chevy sall block since my car is already set up for it..
