Hi guys, i have a gm 7.5" eaton locker with minor use, in great shape paired with a jegs brand 3.73 ring and pinion that i am looking to sell. what is a fair price to ask for it so that i am not getting ripped off? retail value is over $500, now i know they obviously arent new so i was just curious of a fair price. thanks.

Used parts often sell for roughly half the original cost if in good usable shape w/no issues. If it's a GovLoc, I doubt you'll even get half price. There's a GovLoc unit on eBay for $200 BIN right now, w/free shipping even and I doubt he'll get it. Is your unit an aftermarket-type LSD, or ?

That's a better diff than the GovLoc. I would say the 1/2 price estimate would still apply, w/some room for haggling.

I bought one brand new, never installed at Hershey last fall for $85. The asking price you pick will depend on how long you want to wait to sell it.
