70-73 Camaro question

So I recently decided to get rid of the jeep project I was working on, and try to find something that'll at least be worth a little money when I finish. Jeeps aren't known for that....
I've always liked the 70-73 Camaro. I'm trying to figure out which packages, or which years had the round blinkers next to the headlights, rather than the rectangle under the bumper. Could any of you help?
This:

Not:

I'll likely have more questions along the way. I've only found a few of these so far, and not in any condition I'd like to start from.

Someone will correct me if I am wrong, but I thought the cars that came with the two piece bumper (RS) had the turn signals next to the head lights and the one piece bumper (standard) cars had them under the bumper.

the model with the round turn signals and the extended nose and grille is the rally sport or "rs" no 70-73 camaro came from the factory with a cowl induction hood. you can put an "rs" nose on a non "rs", but the hardware and grille are all different! If you purchase a frontend assy from a swapmeet or private person, make sure you get all the pieces!@!

1ownerT is correct, only the "RS" (Rally Sport) optioned cars have the split bumpers and round turn signals, along with an extended grill housing. The white car in the above pic is incorrect, it has a standard nose with the turn signals below the bumper but someone has removed the one piece bumper and replaced it with the two piece "RS" bumpers without adding the rest of the "RS" front end.

Thanks for the responses, guys. I have a better idea of what I'm looking for now.
My next question is, what engine options were on these cars? Were the RS cars 350, or was there a big block option?

The Rally Sport package was just for looks. Other option packages dealt with the drivetrain.
